"48V / 60V PROGRAMMABLE EASY-BIKE CHARGER DESIGN WITH PHASE CONTROLLED INPUT " [Project Video]
The charger was built in hardware and implemented in an Easy-Bike charging garage for monitoring the efficient charging system compared to the market available conventional and less efficient one.
- Charging control system designed and implemented to prevent overcharging problems of Easy-Bikes.
- Implemented constant current charging.
- Phase Controlled Topology used using a single triac.
- Design include step down transformer after AC phase control for greater conduction angle.
- State machine implemented for CC charging control and tickle charging.

3 PHASE HIGH SPEED DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM
" IOT BASED MONITORING DEVICE FOR STUDYING THE EFFECT OF ELECTRIC THREE WHEELER CHARGING LOADS ON THE POWER QUALITY AND ELECTRIC GRID "
- Micro-controller based voltage and current sensing device.
- Integrated directly to the power lines using CT and PT.
- Modular design with independent modules for voltage and current sampling at 1kHz frequency in real time.
- RS485 based integrated datalogging device connected to the internet to send real time data of current, voltage, power factor of each phase and frequency to an IoT server.
- Implemented at a substation, a transformer (both HT and LT side), and three charging stations to monitor the effects of Easy-Bike charging.

" EDUCATIONAL KIT FOR DEMONSTRATING THE CONCEPT OF A SOLAR HOME SYSTEM AND NET METERING "
- Built with Raspberry Pi and also includes a charge controller inside.
- Micro-controller based voltage and current sensing device.
- Previously developed GUI shows the distribution of voltages and current as measured by the micro-controller inside.
- The total system includes a solar panel, a battery, and two led lights.

SOLAR PIPE LIGHT - DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT
" HARNESSING DAYLIGHT AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING "
- Designed on the basis of requirements of an industrial space.
- It consists of three parts - top transparent surface made of plastic, circular tube made of reflective metal sheet, and diffuser made of diamond plastic.
- Design has been constructed and tested in BUET Lab and then implemented at RIMSO Foundation Battery Manufacturing Factory.
- Results based on Daylight Factor (DF), minimum Daylight Autonomy (DAm) shows promising results for the sample.
- Design can be changed by adjusting for lengths according to the requirement of the place to be implemented.

ANALOG CIRCUIT SYSTEMS DESIGN
" 8 BAND REAL-TIME AUDIO VISUALIZER "
The project was implemented on a 12 storied building using analog circuits.

- 80 blocks of light were structured in an 8 x 10 matrix.
- Music was taken as input and was separated into 8 different frequency bands.
- The amplitude for each band was amplified and used to light up blocks of light.
- The whole processing was done in real-time using analog circuits only.

" FORENSIC SKETCH GENERATION FROM FACIAL ATTRIBUTES USING V-GAN "
A project built using V–GAN for forensic sketch generation by taking facial attributes as input and plotting it by a CNC plotter.
Senior Year Academic project for UG EEE 402 (Control Systems Lab.) Course. [Presentation] [Poster]
- Implemented a variational deep generative convolutional neural network (CNN) for the purpose of synthesizing face images from attributes and text descriptions.
- Generated an image corresponding to facial attributes using GAN and then super-resolved using SR-GAN.
- Implemented a CNC plotter for plotting the generated image.
- Processing was done in a Raspberry Pi and no computers were involved.

" WIRELESS CARDIO HEALTHCARE MONITORING SYSTEM USING PPG SENSOR "
Using a PPG Sensor embedded on a wrist wearable unit (WWU), cardio-health is continuously monitored and shows it on a mobile application. [Project Report]

- A PPG sensor based wrist wearable unit was developed that is easy to wear.
- Bluetooth module used to transmit BPM and HRV data wirelessly to the mobile application.
- Can be used for real-time monitoring of cardio health during exercise.
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN INEXPENSIVE ACOUSTIC UNDERWATER COMMUNICATIONS AND CONTROL SYSTEM
Junior Year Academic Project for UG EEE310 (Communication Theory Lab.) Course. [Project Report]
The preferred medium for wireless communication underwater has been sound due to the highly absorptive properties of seawater with respect to radio waves. Most Radio Wave (RF) frequencies are completely absorbed by water within only a few meters. Acoustic communications are the predominant method used today for the transfer of data underwater. The purpose of this project was to develop a reliable and inexpensive acoustic underwater communication system prototype using off-the-shelf electronics.
UNKNOWN SIGNAL FREQUENCY RANGE DETECTION USING 8 CASCADED BANDPASS FILTERS
Sophomore Year Academic Project for UG EEE208 (Electronics Lab.) Course. [Project Video]
- Simple demonstration and use of active filters.
- 8 different band pass filters was designed for different frequency range starting from 20 Hz to 16000 Hz with each filter having a bandwidth of 2000 Hz.
- Common signal bus for all filters with LED connected to each filter as indicator.
- Whole project was implemented in a printed circuit board (PCB).
- Any unknown signal given as input can be detected in a range as indicated by the LED.
LINE FOLLOWER ROBOTS

- Arduino based simple line following robot.
- Powered by 9V batteries.
- Line sensed by a TCRT5000 sensor array containing 6 sensors.
- Sonar sensors also used for wall detection when there is no line.
- PCB was designed for the whole robot.
