BANGLADESH STUDENT ASSOCIATION (BSA)

Bangladesh Student Association (BSA) at NC State University is the platform through which students and faculty come together to celebrate and represent Bangladeshi culture to the international community through different activities. Also, a vital role of BSA is to offer voluntary services and supports to its members.  My scope of work included but was not limited to:

• Organized various social events like alumni reunions, fresher’s receptions and farewell programs etc.

• Kept financial records of the organization and worked with university groups to ensure grants and funding for the activities of BSA - NCSU.

PRESIDENT

ENGLISH MEDIUM BUETIANS’ ASSOCIATION (EMBA)

- October 2018 – April 2019

EMBA is a student association in BUET aimed to help students admitted to the university from ‘English Medium’ background and to keep all alumni and currents students united. My scope of work included but was not limited to: 

• Planned campaigns to different English Medium schools and campaigned there to motivate and guide students towards BUET.

• Organized various social events like alumni reunion, fresher’s reception and farewell program etc.

PUBLICITY AND BRAND MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

আলোকবর্তিকা  (Alokbortika)

আলোকবর্তিকা  (Alokbortika) is an open library at ECE Building, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Unlike a traditional one, anyone can take a book from the library by giving one to the library without registration. A pure intention to spread knowledge!

MAPLE LEAF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB (MLCSC) 

- October 2012 – September 2013

MLCSC is one of the most prestigious clubs of Maple Leaf International School aimed to build a better future. It promotes and organises various social and humanitarian activities to help society and the underprivileged. My scope of work included but was not limited to: 

• Arranged meetings and planned and implemented different humanitarian works.

• Conducted events like – Fire-drill, Earthquake-drill, ‘World Smile Day’-revenue was collected by selling stationery and then donated to ‘Children Cancer Hospital’, Winter clothes collection, ‘Save Savar’-Aid, help and donation was collected for those affected by the Rana Plaza incident.

• Volunteered in ‘Voluntary Teaching’ – after school teaching program for students.
